Duality

And in the eye of shadows, atop a stormy peak,
Choices and decisions, strings and lines in all things,
Nothing is ever simple, it never has to be,
Ability to create and to destroy, to manipulate,
An armament, precious, in the right hands,
Useless to the opposite, a hidden truth,
And with the storms and turbulence, in the very end,
Who has made what choice, who has made me what,
A shield to preserve and protect, no matter the cost,
Or a weapon to shatter and to destroy, at any price,
Both cannot co-exist, both are different,
Both are darkness and light, but cannot be there at once,
Provoked by different wielders, differently,
For a different reason and to different ends,
And in the eclipse, where everything fits into place,
I do wonder, what choices will they all make...
